Sometimes our work is more about connecting the dots.  Our portfolio of fantastic non-profit programs offers a ready-made list for other organizations to link to as well.  The Atlanta Chapter of Engineers Without Borders  approached GoPhilanthropic at the end of 2010 with news that they had corporate funding from Seimens for a solar supply project.  After having submitted a proposal including several of our partner NGOs who were in need of the solar power, PIO in Phnom Penh was selected.  PIO serves over 900 children a day through a variety of programs that include non-formal education and vocational training for vulnerable women and children.  The solar power will be installed in one of PIO’s main education centers next to the municipal garbage dumps in Phnom Penh early 2012.
