Create passionate, young changemakers in at-risk communities of rural Cambodia.
Free to Shine works to prevent the trafficking and exploitation of at-risk, rural girls through education, social work support and leadership-building.
Their Emerging Leaders Program brings together 24 girls with outstanding leadership potential, provides them with training and ongoing mentorship, and sets them up with individual community-based projects so they can apply their skills in a practical, impactful way. Through this program, girls are establishing and running local community centers, libraries, gardens, tutoring sessions, sanitation projects and more, transforming their rural villages and becoming the changemakers of tomorrow!
