In 2015 the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank released the alarming statistics that 400 million people across the world lack access to basic health services.\u00a0In a world where\u00a0more than 1 billion people are living in extreme poverty (less than $1.25 per day) and 2.2 billion are living on less than $2 per day, the world\u2019s poorest, most marginalized people are the most at risk in accessing health services \u2014 one of the most fundamental elements to our natural rights.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
