GoPhil just wrapped up its 2nd Network Meeting in SE Asia where our regional partner program directors and staff convened in Vietnam to share their work, successes, best practices and strategies in running small community-based programs devoted education and empowerment. Not only do these gatherings represent a valuable forum to share resources and ideas–it also fosters important moral support needed to forge on in what can be challenging work. The group discussed several important topics such as managing volunteers, how to optimize social media, and effective ways to develop critical thinking, creative and writing skills programs within their organizations.
