Yet despite its natural splendor and heritage, Nepal remains one of the poorest countries in the world and after a decade long civil war, it continues to struggle with political instability and corruption. On April 25, 2015, Nepal suffered a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake, changing the face of the country forever.
