COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST
In 2015 the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank released the alarming statistics that 400 million people across the world lack access to basic health services. In a world where more than 1 billion people are living in extreme poverty (less than $1.25 per day) and 2.2 billion are living on less than $2 per day, the world’s poorest, most marginalized people are the most at risk in accessing health services — one of the most fundamental elements to our natural rights.
