For the first time in decades, the number of 14+ year old girls in the foothills of Nepal is growing as they have not been trafficked! These critical village education programs are being embraced by the local communities. Targeting the poor rural communities in the remote areas of Nepal that are the most vulnerable to trafficking, villagers gain awareness of trafficking, skills with which to earn an income and awareness about basic human rights.
