Strengthening Community Resilience Before, During and After COVID-19

Join a Virtual GoPhil Gathering on Thursday, July 30th, as we discuss various complications and incredible successes of GoPhil partners and their communities, as well as how Rapid Response Funds have been quickly utilized to support their most pressing needs in light of COVID-19.

At GoPhil we continue to explore how, together, we can turn the pandemic into a catalyst moment on how to build deep community resilience and long-lasting change alongside grassroots partner programs. In communities around the globe COVID-19 has hit in a rapid and indiscriminate way, adding obstacles to issues that are already challenging. For GoPhil partners, this has meant having to adjust how they support community activities and repurpose grants. GoPhil partners working on the frontlines represent the true face of community strength and resilience in the wake of this pandemic and as they adapt to these new circumstances, support of GoPhil’s Rapid Response Fund has been critical. To read more about community resilience in the time of COVID-19, please also visit this article: Tales of Local Resilience on the Frontlines of COVID and Climate Change.
