Thanks to GoPhil generous donors, our partner LEOT in Luang Prabang, was able to effectively work alongside a remote village up the Mekong River in order to improve their previously dismal classroom environment. Much was accomplished in a very short time for the Pan Luang School including improved lighting, new fans, a reliable source of water, a brand new roof, flooring and a fresh coat of paint. Many Laos village schools are under enormous pressure with limited resources so the additional space created by the renovation goes a long way to prevent over crowding and creates a dramatically improved environment for teaching.
