Vocational Job/Life Readiness
Access to a quality education is not always enough to secure a future out of poverty. Many students require additional support in preparing for their future. Job/Life Readiness programs help students gain needed skills and prepare them for further education or in helping them make important decisions about their future career. In the cases where university is not a possible or achievable path for a student, vocational programs (sewing or mechanics) offer the chance to learn a life long practical skill that helps in building a sustainable life. Funding for these preparatory programs is essential in countries where job opportunities are extremely limited.
